C-H-I-N-G-A-Y and that spells Chingay. lol
Once again, i took part in chingay but this time not as a volunteer but contractor. HAHAH but it was still as fun especially when we're given the privilege to go everywhere and anywhere we want with the our tags. This year's chingay is unlike the other years, this year it is held at city hall. But i still prefer it to be held at orchard, Its way better. 15 Feb was the preview, and on that day i was accompanied by 2 jayne(s), 2 priscilla(s) and 1 denice, chen chao and kok wei. (I hope i didn't spell anyone's name wrongly) HAHHA how freaky. Oh ya we met denise chan on the way too cause her school was involved in chingay. so we had 2 denise(s) too. Gosh, i was so stress. Met jing xiang as well. Apparently he came back to help as a volunteer. Its always nice to see some familar faces among the whole batch of volunteers.

That day's preview was the first time i got to see a F1 car. The engine is sooooo LOUD. But the car was cool of course. According to priscilla, the price of 1 ticket to watch the F1 race is like over 7,ooo-9,000 dollars. GOSH! i wonder who can/will afford so much. But anyway i got to see it for FREE. HAHAH Talking about noise, the firecracker and fireworks are also qute loud. I thought i will need a hearing aid by the end of the 2 days. HAHAH. The floats were all so nicely decorated and everyone was so enthusiatic. I really enjoyed myself.(:

On the actual day itself,there seem to have more policemen around to control the crowd. But everyone was as excited as usual, so i guess nothing could spoil the fun.

I was kind of disappointed that we couldn't enter the party, cause this year the party is only open up to people above 18. How stupid. So sorry cheryl. I should have check clearly before calling you down.):

As for today, ane, shina and i went visiting together to each others' house. "Terpanyaki" was great. Thanks ane!!!(: Took a trip down to chinatown together after that to get some DIY stuf again for ane's shoes. I hope it'll turn out well. unfortunately, ane have to leave early cause of some project meeting she had with her schoolmates): So only shina and i went to zouk flea. As usual, it was sooooo crowded. We had to like squeeze our way through. But i can say it all worth it.HAHA Met nurul and aqila there, so we all shopped together. Aqila is sooo good at cutting price. Well is either that or we really suck at it. HAHA.

Had a great dinner celebration with my family at swensen's. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNTY JOY!!!(: love ya!
