FINA MARATHON SWIMMING WORLD CUP/SINGAPORE OPEN WATER SWIM

Hundreds of glowing tanned bodies filled ECP by 9a.m. Kids as young as 9 years old to adults as old like 40/50+ all gathered together for a common reason; to swim. Haha, the setting was kind of similar to the one seened on TV during the olympics' triathlon race except that in this case it has only one event, swimming. The whole event started off with the longest race, the 10km swim. *Gosh, i really wonder how they survived swimming in that filthy water for 10 humungous laps. Anyway, there were all sorts of event involved such as the 500m, 1km, 3km, 3km masters, 5km, 5km masters as well as the 10km. How mad right, hundreds of people getting down into the sea, competing against the current, trying to beat all his/her opponents just for a title of his/her own. -_______-'' But as crazy as it sounds, i had fun watching, HAH.

Though we got cheated by some old fella's words, but... i'm glad that we still had quite some fun over at the refreshment area which naturally became our area after sometime. Besides, we left the place not only with no. stamps on our arms, but also took away a couple of singlets and a medal each with us. HAHAH, our "shirt mission" was so "DRAMA-MAMA". Oh oh, and... WE WERE PAID $20. :D:D:D Though it is not exactly alot, but i guess it is better than nothing.

HHAHA, money, medal, shirts, good food, tann and "eye massage" :D:D

What more should i ask for?

I thank God for holding back the rain, not only for the participants' sake but also for proving to some guy that i'm not "SLOW".
