An example of a perfect day;

I always love saturdays, especially this week's. ;)

Saturdays are always put aside for my favourite people. & for this week, it was left for Ma' Homies!

It has been a while homies!

Had a picnic over at Botanic Gardens and it was 'major'! Did a couple of videos, took tons of pictures, read lots of GF & dolly magazines, ate a lot of yummy food, played some spastic games & lastly, spent time enjoying each other's company. (L)

But as the weather starts to rebel about 2 hours later, we packed up & left for b&j over @ demsey. God,i have to say, the place doesn't feel like sg at all, its so.... Australia-like. Its hard to explain, but we just didn't felt like we're in sg.

Half-way through, we approached some staff to help us take a group photo. And all of us decided not to smile and show the "whatthehell" face. (haa, we wanted to see the reaction of the staff)

In the end, there wasn't much of a reaction because we were such bad actresses. Haa! Its okay, next time, next time we'll try again.

Cheryl & Nurul had plans after that, so we seperated and it was down to Aqila & me. Decided to go for SAM flea since we didn't have much to do. On our way there, it started pouring but still it did not change our minds about the flea. Haa.

We braved the rain

Thank God for shelters, the flea was still on. Managed to find some things which i like. One of them is a old vintage bag which was selling at $5 only. I was freaking tempted, but Aqila was being Aqila, nagging at me reminding me how many bags i have etc. Haa, not saying its not good, it is actually! ;)Most of the time, after hearing i will not buy, but this time was an exception. Haa.

2 minutes later, I was so glad that i bought it because... GUESS WHAT HAPPENED?! I FOUND 2 OLD $50 NOTES IN ONE OF THE POCKET. I WAS FLABBERGASTED!! I FRANTICALLY PULLED AQILA ASIDE & SHOW IT HER & COMFIRM IT TO MYSELF! *mouth wide open*

Both our emotions were turning wild, so we decided to call Cheryl & Travis who were also at the flea to come over. And when i told them the whole thing, I swear, i was shaking!

Both of us couldn't stop swearing. (BTW, i don't swear often.)

Its so funny; Aqila & i were just talking about how broke we are over dinner. And we were still suggesting ideas to each other on how to save money. & in like 30 minutes after dropping that topic, i.. found $100.

Anyway in case you're wondering what i did to the money; i gave Aqila half of the money. ;) (you people might think i'm mad, BUT i feel happier like that. Sharing what i have, & i know she's worth it!)

So tell me how can any day beat this day.
